Mindfulness Is a Journey

Mindful With Mary, LLC was founded in December 2021 from a heartfelt desire to give back to the community and create a space rooted in compassion, healing, and connection.

​

Mary offers a trauma-informed, inclusive approach to mindfulness that honors mental health, recovery, and grief as natural parts of the human experience. Her work welcomes all bodies, ages, abilities, identities, and backgrounds into a space of safety, respect, and belonging.

​

Through her own journey of healing from mental health challenges and substance use, Mary has personally experienced the transformative power of breathwork, meditation, and mindful movement. These practices were not just tools—they became lifelines. The power of breath, meditation, and movement quite literally saved her life, guiding her toward stability, strength, and hope.

​

With a calm and grounded presence, Mary now shares these modalities—gentle yoga, mindful movement, breathwork, meditation, reiki, and grief education—to support nervous system regulation, emotional resilience, and inner awareness. Strength is cultivated both physically and emotionally, allowing individuals to reconnect with themselves, rebuild trust within their bodies, and move forward with compassion.

Students are invited to meet themselves exactly where they are. Movement is encouraged without judgment, rest is honored, and awareness is gently cultivated. Grief education is thoughtfully woven into offerings, creating space to understand loss, process emotions, and recognize that healing does not follow a straight line.

In a world that often feels fast-paced and overwhelming, these practices offer an opportunity to slow down, release stress, and reconnect. Yoga and mindfulness are not about achieving perfect poses or forcing flexibility; they are about tuning into the rhythm of the breath and heartbeat, creating balance and strength in the body, and developing deeper acceptance—within and beyond the self.

 

Mary’s mission is to continue sharing presence, compassion, and empowerment through yoga, mindful movement, breathwork, meditation, reiki, and grief education—supporting healing, recovery, and resilience within the community and beyond.
